MediaLounge is a Festival. It is a place to see traditional aesthetics re-worked, familiar technologies repurposed, and common culture remixed. Its mission is to expose new media artists who place themselves in dialog with emerging technologies.

space in which emerging and
established digital artists can meet
and share ideas. It is a space dedicated
to collaboration both behind and in
front of a screen. Media Lounge will
support its participants by giving them
an artist’s most valuable assets:
time, space, and materials.
MediaLounge is Free. We are whole
heartedly dedicated to the open
source aesthetic and we strive to create
a space where everything from the ideas
to the drinks are free.

A Night Of Music, Media and Mayhem
The Artists of Media Lounge Return!
But this time to:
3LD Art and Technology Center
3LD will be transformed into a gallery of interactive new media installations that explore the future through new technology. Several musicians and DJs will be featured throughout the night to paint a sound-scape of this imagined world. The headlining performance will be the Twizt company debuting a few musical numbers from the show.
The Event will benefit Twizt, a futuristic retelling of Oliver Twizt based on the album
"Fair Aint Fair" by Tim Fite.

OUR DREAM HOUSE

MediaLounge presents a new look at the world of fantacy.
Our Dream House introduces audiences to a man-sized toy home. This interactive installation, viewed in cross-section, provides refuge from a harsh, frenzied, giant media world that rages just beyond. This oversized dollhouse space is held to the same suggestive minimalism as its mini counterpart. When the environment activated, the house unsettles and unfolds, revealing itself and its living doll tenant. The room captures the life of a child's imagination.
